Rachel’s own therapeutic journey lead her to create Inner Light Counseling LLC. She has 10 years experience working with Anxiety, Depression, providing caregiver support and resources working in a variety of different roles.
Rachel has a unique perspective on the caring professions. She knows that those in helping professions have different experiences that shape them more so than the average person. She believes at different points in people’s lives sometimes requires an outside perspective to assist in guiding them to their own inner resources. Rachel practices brief solution focused psychotherapy to get client’s to optimum functioning.
With a balance of humor and compassion Rachel will work to provide a team approach to getting you to where you want to be.
Rachel provides a variety of techniques and does not believe in a one size fits all approach. Rachel provides brief solution focused therapy for Compsych and Cigna employee assistance programs which are anywhere from 4-8 sessions depending on the employer. Rachel can provide more in-depth therapy if you are wanting to explore current behaviors and how it relates to your past.

In her spare time Rachel, a Colorado native, loves being outdoors, traveling and spending time with her 2 kids and 2 dogs. Rachel’s favorite place in Colorado is Red Rocks Amphitheater and favorite restaurants are Randi’s and La Fonda. Her favorite TV shows include The Simpsons and The Office. Rachel’s favorite book is The Untethered Soul by Michael A. Singer.
